Cyence was awarded the “.NET Award for Innovation” from Microsoft in 2002. The award was presented through Microsoft Canada’s Awards Program. It recognizes Cyence’s innovative use of the .NET Web Services application in serving its global financial services customers. The ExpressOS™ Finance Platform was cited for its ability to enable user connections to move seamlessly from one Web server to another for scaling, load balancing, and failure recovery.
Microsoft Canada's Awards Program was created in 2000 to recognize outstanding innovation, industry partnership, and leadership within the ranks of Microsoft Canada's channel. The award was open to all organizations and service providers for the most innovative use of the .NET suite of products.

Cyence’s pioneering efforts were recognized a second time by Microsoft in 2004. Last November, Cyence won the Channel Builder Award at the 2004 Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards gala. The award, a tribute to successful partnerships built to provide innovative solutions, acknowledged Cyence’s strategic alliances with industry players to pilot several unique initiatives. Among the developments is Cyence’s Credit Express for Microsoft Office 2003™, software that enables users to quickly access credit bureau information.
The Channel Builder Award – proudly displayed in Cyence’s corporate office in Burlington – was a welcomed addition to a growing list of successes.
